A Sensible Approach
The Coronavirus pandemic and all of the information we are bombarded with has caused a lot of confusion for us all.
Nevada Blue is taking the President’s Guidelines and the pronouncements from Governor Sisolak and Mayor Shieve to heart. We have kept surfaces clean and sanitized and have provided hand sanitizer and reinforced hand washing procedures and frequency.
A question not easily answered is whether Nevada Blue needs to close. We have received direction through correspondence with the Builders Association and the AGC that Governor Sisolak’s office considers construction an essential business. Therefore, we will remain open to provide the needed support services under similar guidelines suggested for other businesses. We will be limiting customer contact. We are closing our lobby to walk in traffic and will handle drop-offs and pick-ups curbside. Our delivery service will pick up incoming orders and deliver finished jobs on request.
At the Carson City store we will be available from 8 to 9 am and again from 4 to 5 pm to take in orders and return projects. Delivery in the Carson area will be by special appointment only. All Carson emails and phone calls will be redirected to the Reno office for handling and Jon will be working from the Reno office. Carol is sheltering in place to care for elderly relatives. Nevada Blue is well equipped to handle a lot of work digitally through email, from receiving orders, files and lists of needed supplies.
